Research Committee needs members

Call for Research Committee Members!

 

Contribute the valuable insight you may have about a topic or maybe take part in one of the following proposed projects:

·         Investigation of interesting/controversial topics that affect colleges and

      universities

·         Report new findings, techniques, processes and up-to-date information

      about admissions, records and registration procedures and practices

·         Gather and communicate suggestions from our members about events,

      issues, challenges and other things related to NACRAO

·         Send out surveys to gather opinions, information and ideas about things

        that impact those working in higher education (like social media,   

        technology, campus safety, communication with students, Veteran

        services and the upcoming changes to the GI Bill, the Affirmative Action

        Ban, etc.)

 

Your contributions could help strengthen the people, institutions and even the operations of the NACRAO organization!

 

Feedback, valuable insight and information from our members is so important and we are in need of a great team to gather, evaluate and communicate comments and suggestions about how we do things or what could be done to better serve each other.

 

Interested?

If you were ever on this committee and would like to continue to serve OR if you have never been on a NACRAO committee (and want to see what it is all about) please contact Mike Kolker (from Metropolitan Community College). He is the Vice President for Membership on the NACRAO Board of Directors and is charge of overseeing this committee.

Getting Started...

Once assembled, the committee will meet and conduct a brainstorming session about research and survey projects and discuss the different ways to communicate their requests and findings with the NACRAO members.

 

NOTE: All individuals and ideas are welcome. The level of commitment is somewhat minimal so joining this committee will not result in an overwhelming amount of responsibility. Please direct any questions you may have about this to:

Heartland Hosting to update NACRAO site

The Board of Directors has approved a move to have Heartland Hosting (Scott McLaughlin) make updates to the website.  Each NACRAO committee will have one member who can submit changes and additions to Scott to post.
