What do we do?
This committee plans, coordinates, and carries out the NOW (Nebraska on Wheels) Bus Tour. The tour typically takes place third week of June and runs for three to four days bringing high school counselors to the campuses of NACRAO institutions.
The NOW Bus Tour provides schools the opportunity to show off their campus and highlight what makes them unique. It also provides the counselors a chance to see first-hand and learn about our Nebraska schools.
The committee meets several times through the year (most of the work is accomplished via e-mail or phone). The majority of the work consists of planning the tour, working out details and logistics with host institutions, and the actual tour.

At the AACRAO 93rd Annual Meeting in Boston, MA, the NOW Bus Tour earned NACRAO a prestigious Elbert W. Ockerman Award.
The Ockerman Award is presented to recognize outstanding professional activities of the state/regional associations and encourage development and expansion of quality professional activities among state/regional associations.
