Dr. Borgmann is a member on a committee of the State Coordinating Commission to review dual credit in Nebraska. This session will be an update on that committee’s progress as well as some insight into trends in dual credit.

This presentation will address how to prepare a campus visit for 8th, 9th, and 10th grade students. Discussion topics will include: Why students are starting early, how to plan for and engage the age group, and college benefits to reaching this younger audience.
Common Education Data Standards

Can there be a universal transcript language that defines education data? Katie will share
information about Common Education Data Standards which is a national initiative to establish
and encourage voluntary adoption and implementation of a set of data standards that will help
improve the transferability and comparability of data across education entities and sectors.

This session will be an open forum for you to talk about the future of AACRAO and get your questions answered. We will review the services AACRAO is currently providing to members as well as give an overview of new initiatives that are planned. Discussion topics will include which services are most valuable to you as an AACRAO member, what you think AACRAO should be doing next, and updates on the executive director search and recommendations for AACRAO governance structure changes.
