Annual Conference: Featured SpeakersKeynote: Carol Horner
Carol Horner is the Founder of Synchronicity, Inc. She works with teams, leaders, and organizations seeking to grow and make a productive and positive impact. Carol’s strengths lie in her ability to custom-design and implement learning and organization development programs in leadership development, team development, communication, productive conflict, and change management. She integrates the ideals of diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging learning into all her consulting and talent development work. Carol created the Spiral of Accountability™ that takes the complex dynamic of human self-talk and interactions and simplifies it into a visual representation that allows people to identify, name, and understand what is happening with them and those around them. It then shows a pathway toward improving their reactions. She released the book The Spiral of Accountability in April 2024, and has a new book release planned for June 2026. Keynote: Bill Busch
Bill Busch brings 30 years of Division I football coaching experience, including work alongside legends such as Tom Osborne, Urban Meyer, and Barry Alvarez. He earned a National Championship ring at LSU while coaching under Ed Orgeron, and most recently served as Special Teams and Defensive Coordinator at the University of Nebraska. Busch has been recognized as co-defensive back coach of the year and one of the top 25 recruiters in the nation (by Rivals.com). He played a key role in recruiting future NFL #1 overall picks Joe Burrow and Alex Smith early in their careers. Drawing on decades of experience in the fast-paced world of football, Busch offers perspective that goes well beyond the game. He explores how to embrace opportunities to pivot, the power of preparation, and the potential of true teamwork. Whether you're a sports fan or not, you'll walk away with a fresh lens on how you approach challenges in your own work and life. AACRAO Board Representative: Tiffani Robertson, Ph.D., MBA
